Enjoy this scenic route connecting downtown Chicago, IL to the beachfront town of Bridgman, MI. Bypass the industrial corridors of NW Indiana and ride through the Indiana Dunes National Park and Warren Dunes in Michigan. The majority of the route is covered by paved bike paths including: Chicago’s scenic Lakefront Trail, Marquette Greenway, Erie Lackawanna Trail, Oak Savannah Trail and Prairie Duneland Trail. The Calumet Trail is being paved but can be bypassed via the Dunes Highway (US-12). This ride is also timed 1 week after the Mishigami Challenge; cheer your friends on as they pass by you in the home stretch.
